Sandy D'Acey
About Sandy

Since her arrival from Ottawa Ontario at the age of 3, Sandy D’Acey considers herself a proud Calgarian.

Her introduction to performing started at the age of 4, standing on a footstool in the living room, singing the theme song of her favorite TV show into a hair brush. At 9, she starred in a community concert which led to a commitment to the arts when she studied at the Young Canadian School of Arts 10 years later.

After four years with the Grandstand Show and Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede, Sandy spent over a decade in Country Music as an Independent Recording Artist, and lead singer of the Uptown Riders, and then her own band. Throughout her career, she has performed on television, on radio, and in many venues such as nightclubs, cruise ships in Europe, Las Vegas, Nashville and in Shanghai, China for an international music festival!

Today, she's the lead singer for an energetic party/dance band called Fun in the Front Seat. The band features four talented musicians and lively dancers. Together they bring together decades of experience and play many styles of popular dance music in a continuous stream of fairs & exhibitions, festivals, corporate events and private functions locally and abroad throughout the year.

Along with the band, Sandy also enjoys performing solo, combining great songs to sing a long to or to kick up your heels and dip and sway in modern and ballroom dance styles. You’ll bring back the good times and create new ones with a few laughs and her warm interactive style. Her love of singing and playing will keep you coming back for more.
